The honest fine print, in plain language.
This page is the summary; the services agreement you accept at checkout is the contract. If the two ever disagree, the agreement governs — and we'd want to know, so tell us.
- Payment
- 50% deposit starts the engagement; the 50% balance is invoiced at delivery notice. Files and your seat unlock when the balance clears. Payments run on Stripe — we never see your card.
- The seven-day clock
- "Seven days or less" counts our working days from the scope call to the delivery notice. The clock pauses at your gates: while we wait on intake materials, the map approval, or the balance, days don't burn. Your slow week is never our missed promise — and vice versa.
- The one gate & revisions
- You approve the experience map before content is built. Build includes one map revision and one delivery polish pass; Build Pro includes two of each plus a 14-day post-delivery revision window. Your engagement room shows allowances used vs. included at all times.
- Change orders
- After map approval, scope is frozen. New topics, a new audience, or a structural rework are a change order: we quote it in writing before any new work starts. Copy-level fixes at delivery are always included.
- Refunds
- The deposit is refundable in full any time before you approve the experience map. After approval, the deposit is earned; the balance is only ever due against a delivered course.
- Your materials & IP
- Everything you upload stays yours and is used only to build your course. On release (balance paid), the finished course, reports, and map transfer to you. We keep the right to name you as a client unless you ask us not to.
- The seat
- Your engagement includes a 12-month Cognistry seat with full edit rights over your workspace. Your content is exportable at any time, seat active or not. Renewing keeps the workspace editable; expiry never takes your files hostage.
- Thin source material
- If intake shows there isn't enough material to build from, we say so on Day 1 and either schedule the subject-matter session that fixes it or refund the deposit — we don't quietly ship a hollow course.
